    What about trainers?
    Trainers are experienced they handled training program for corporate with good feed back. They are able to give you real time exposure. They are friendly. You can discuss and improve your knowledge with them.

    What about my salary range?
    Fresher :

    IBM MAINFRAME, TELECOM TESTING: 18K to 27 K (per month)
    SOFTWARE TESTING 14K to 18 K (per month)

    Experienced :

    IBM MAINFRAME, TELECOM TESTING: 30K to 60K (per month)
    SOFTWARE TESTING 20K to 35K (per month)

    Can i use lab or attend seminars after completing the course?
    Yes you can attend till you get a job.

    What are the available class timings?

    Institute opens from 7.30 a.m to 9 p.m . You can fix any time in between these timings Week end batches are also possible.

How many branches you have?

We have 4 branches at Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Cochin.

I completed my graduation through correspondence or open university. Am I eligible?

Yes you are eligible.

I am AMIE, AMIETE, etc. Am i eligible ?

Yes . You are eligible .

For some technologies (ex.,IBM MAINFRAME OR TELECOM TESTING). I am unable to see advertisement in paper or job sites. You are saying “lot of openings” . which is true?

If a technology is new or latest or expensive then, MNCs HRs knows, no experienced person available in the market. Giving advt in paper or job site is waste because only junk resumes available. They knows where the resources are available. For example ARCUS uses z/os s390 server for IBM MAINFRAME. Arcus uses real time trainer for telecom testing. Arcus handle lot of corporate training, so MNCs knows about our quality, standard in training and they knows what technical resources available at Arcus. So they preferred to recruit fresher from Arcus instead of giving Advertisements.

What course is better for me?

If you are interested in development, if you have creativity & problem solving skills, than you can go for IBM MAINFRAME.
If you want quick job, interested in Telecom domain , if not interested in development then you can go for telecom testing.
If you are not interested in development (coding), if you are excellent in finding errors in software programs then you can prefer software testing.

Can I take break after join to Arcus?

Break is permitted with prior permission.

Can I change batch timing?

Yes , you can.

How many interviews you will give to me?

“n “ number of interviews you can attend “n” number of interviews through arcus till you get a job.

Can I use lab more hours?

Lab time is unlimited. Lab is open all the days.

What type of jobs I can get?

Permanent jobs & contract jobs ( Through Arcus Pay Roll)

What is Fresher & Experienced Criteria when applying for a job?

Current year , Current year - 1, Current year - 2(eg.Current year is 2008 ---> so 2008,2007 and 2006) can apply as fresher. But some times companies can consider even 2003, 2002 as fresher if Arcus is having strong tie-ups.
Others can apply with experience and will be considered as experienced.

What is Campus Placements?

Campus placement is for fresher criteria only. Arcus have MNC clients. Either MNCs will come to Arcus or Arcus Students can go to MNCs. MNC will short list candidates through interview and will give offer letter. The advantage in campus placement is that competition is only between arcus students. Success ratio is more.

Give some examples for previous campus placements?

Kanbay, Wipro , CTS, Informatica, Scandent, Satyam, I-Gate, I-Flex, Virtusa, Accenture, Divitas Networks, First Apex, Sasken, NESS ,etc.,

Is any percentage(%) criteria in my Graduation and School?

Forget your school , 10th or +2 our client will not see that if you go through arcus.
Fresher: 60% in graduation is necessary for some of our MNC clients. Our remaining
clients does not need that 60% in your graduation also.
Example: Our candidates with 55% to 59% are working with Wipro, Scandent etc.,
Note: The person with 60% in graduation is having more chances to get placed than a person with less than 60%.
